Bio
Paula Scott is an artist residing in Bend, Oregon. She was raised in Texas, and in high school, moved to Oregon. She used to make porcelain dolls and has a passion for gardening. She has three children and five beautiful grandsons. Nowadays she lives in Bend, where she makes stained glass pieces in her spare time.
She decided to name her business "Julia's Glass", because a wonderful woman named Julia was the person she received her first pieces of glass from, and inspired her to pursue stained glass as an art form.
Artist Statement
Paula Scott has always had a knack for art, and in the recent years, shifted to making stained glass art. She's been working hard over the years to create beautiful suncatchers. She has an incredible patience with temperamental materials; once she's decided to learn something, she doesn't stop until she's mastered it. Her previous passion was creating detailed porcelain dolls, and she transferred that attention to detail and talent to glass work.
